Done Building Someone Else's business? It's Time for Yours

Let's be honest. You've spent your career building someone else's dreams, often getting overlooked, underappreciated, and woefully underpaid in the process.

You have a burning desire to leave and do work that truly lights you up, but you're stuck between two terrible options:

  • Option 1: Stay miserable as your flame slowly extinguishes.

  • Option 2: Take a reckless leap of faith, crossing your fingers and praying you don't land in a financial freefall.

Well, I'm here to tell you there's a third, much better option.

It’s building a corporate escape plan that helps you maximize your time and money while still employed.

Think of it as your roadmap to doing work that fuels your soul—without needing to win the lottery or leaping into poverty.

HELLO! I’m Tania CFP®, AFC®- Job Exit Strategist

I Built My Corporate Escape Plan, And I’ll Show You How To Build Yours.

My own leap to self-employment was sparked by what I affectionately call a "Performance Review from Hell." I’ve been where you are, feeling stuck and underappreciated.

After my own leap, I discovered better ways to transition—including strategies to stabilize income—that would have allowed me to leave sooner, with a whole lot less stress.

As a CFP® & AFC® professional with over 20 years in financial services, my passion is to help women like you build a realistic financial bridge to self-employment- no perfect finances needed.

Because your transition journey deserves a plan as unique as you are, whether it’s a strategic bunny hops or a big jump.

  • What’s the difference between a financial coach, financial therapist, and financial advisor (planner, consultant)?

Financial Advisor/Planner/Consultant: focused strictly on investing and helping build and preserve wealth. Not always focused on holistically helping someone align their life’s goals with their financial choices. Long-term future-focused.

Financial Therapist-focused mainly on helping you heal from the past traumas impacting your current financial choices. A therapist focuses on the root causes to get you to a place where your financial behaviors are healthy enough for you to make good financial choices. Primarily past focused.

Financial Coach-a financial coach looks at all of your life, not just your finances to help you use finances as a tool to build the life you want. A coach can offer guidance on a variety of financial topics and help you identify past behaviors impacting your ability to reach your goals, but most are focused on how to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. Coaches help you with present goals as well as thinking ahead to future goals.

Additionally, I am both a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®), so I can uniquely combine elements of all three into my services. I’m also a Certified Younique Coach, trained to help people design their ideal life. text goes here

  • My services provide the financial guidance you need to make informed financial decisions. We offer education on a variety of financial topics, but we do not offer specific investment, insurance, tax, or legal advice.

Oftentimes, once we’ve helped educate someone on a topic, coupled with guidance, that person can confidently make financial decisions.

Think of it like this: we’re teaching people how to fish (coaching) vs. giving people a fish (advice).

Even better, most can take what they’ve learned and continue to make informed financial decisions, without us- which is the ultimate goal.

  • There are 8 sessions, each lasting up to 1 hour. The sessions are typically broken down into biweekly sessions. We designed the program to be flexible enough to accommodate different schedules and transition timelines.

You have unlimited email support and what we can “Unstuck” sessions- short virtual meetings to quickly attack the barrier in your way. description

  • Yes and no. Yes, basic generic financial information can be obtained from the internet and AI.

But once you get the information, you need to:

    • Curate the information specific to your unique situation

    • Filter it to determine what’s good or bad or just outdated information (law changes, etc)

    • Discern if you are getting information from only the speaker’s or writer’s personal experience without the context to know if it will work for you vs. someone who is speaking from years of working with others

    • Know what questions to ask (which is tough when you’re asking questions about a transition you’ve never experienced)

    • Also not only know the right information, but the the right order (A great example is a question I get often- Should I save or pay off debts- the order you do and how you do it can make or break your goals)

    • Customize it to match your personality, life stage, and goals.

    • Be your own accountability partner to keep yourself on track

These are all challenging to do without a human guide to:

    • Help navigate the emotional rollercoaster of the transition which can self-sabotage your success

    • Catch and help with limiting beliefs sensed in questions, statements, and tone of voice when asked

    • Help you align what you're doing with your values.

    • Discern when seemingly good guidance on the internet, is bad guidance for your unique needs description
